Making privacy tick Sophie Richardson

How far can you trust a product or service with your personal information? Our office wants to create a way for consumers to know if they are using a service or product that will protect their privacy and personal information.

We propose doing this through the creation of a ‘Privacy Tick’ trust mark. The Privacy Tick is intended to be an endorsement by our office of products and services which are designed with privacy in mind.

But first, we’d like to hear from you. We would appreciate your views on the creation of a privacy trust mark by completing a short online survey. The survey is anonymous and should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete.

This project is part of our vision to help consumers to have trust and confidence that their information will be safeguarded. It will also make it easier for people to make choices for privacy-friendly goods and services.

The survey can be found here. The survey deadline is 1 August 2017

Please let your colleagues know - as well as family, friends and anyone else you think might be interested in participating!
